Mr. Brian J. Bacon, Jr. is the Director of Music Ministries at Saint Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Fairfield Glade, Tennessee, Conductor/Music Director of the Cumberland County Community Band, Director of the Cumberland County Children’s Chorus and a well-established local Private Voice Instructor. He has been the Director of Worship, Director of Music and Liturgy, and Director of Music for many churches throughout the Tennessee and Missouri areas including: St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church (Independence, MO), Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (St. Joseph, MO), Sand Branch United Methodist (Knoxville, TN), United Church: Chapel On the Hill (Oak Ridge, TN) and First Christian Church: Disciples of Christ (Rockwood, TN). Mr. Bacon is currently a graduate student of Liberty University completing a Master of Arts in Music and Worship. His undergraduate studies include Roane State Community College (Harriman, TN), where he received the Outstanding Musician Award and conducted the Roane State Chamber Choir; and Maryville College (Maryville, TN), where he received his Bachelor of Arts in Music. Mr. Bacon has had the opportunity to perform with many well established choruses including: Knoxville Opera Company Chorus, Roane Choral Society, Cumberland County Community Chorus, Saint Joseph Community Chorus, Roane State Community College Concert Choir and Celebration and the Maryville College Concert Choir, Off-kilter and Community Chorus and Mastersingers at Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, Tennessee. He was recently awarded the Roane State Community College 2013 Alumni Vocalist. Mr. Bacon is an active member of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians, Association of Concert Bands, American Choral Director’s Association and a Fourth Degree member of the Knights of Columbus. Mr. Bacon is married to Amanda Bacon (originally from Crossville, TN: Amanda Threet) and has four adorable daughters: Autumn Catherine (9), Savannah Rose (5), Lillian Grace (3) and Sophia Isabella born in February.
